A comprehensive MRI imaging-based health assessment that screens for the leading causes of death or disability: Cancer, Cardiovascular disease, Aneurysm, Stroke as well as hundreds of other conditions.
Every MRI4Life program participant takes part in a carefully planned 3-part process:
Throughout these steps and beyond you will have direct access to our MRI4Life Program Director who will personally coordinate every aspect. We take pride in being available to you; from our Program Director to our Technologists to your Provider Consultation – Experienced professionals working to put you in charge of your health journey with a comprehensive MRI process.
Our program is designed for the whole body; the MRI4Life program fits perfectly with Dr. Suber’s training as an Osteopathic Physician; analyzing all systems together, not focusing on one symptom. Rather than simply reacting to symptoms as they may crop up, our program is focused on prevention and whole body-health for a comprehensive MRI experience.
Advanced Medical Imaging’s MRI room was designed with natural light and the largest, quietest open-bore MRI for your comfort and ease. Let our technicians help you get comfortable, choose your favorite music, and let the technology do its job. Many of our patients are so relaxed they fall asleep during the scan!
Fill out our safety questionnaire and our staff will work with you to make sure you’re safe to get an MRI.
Fill out a medical intake form to provide our radiologists proper context into your health history.
If you deal with anxiety or claustrophobia, our medical team will work with you to prescribe a sedative.
If possible, don’t eat or drink a few hours prior to your scan and arrive 15-30 minutes prior your appointment.
Arrive 15 minutes early to finish up any paperwork needed and make sure to provide your physician’s information so we can send them a copy of your report.
Change into scrubs (like comfortable pajamas) and be sure to remove any other metallic objects like jewelry. Your personal items, including phone, will be locked in your dressing room in our secure area during your scan.
Pick your favorite music playlist and let our technicians help you relax while they position you for the scans. Just prior to the scan our technologists will place thick pads called coils around your head and body. These coils help focus the images.
The scanner is climate controlled with fresh, cool air for your comfort, and you will always be in contact with an MRI technologist through a two-way intercom if there is anything you need. Throughout the scan, you technologist will be checking in with you.
Right after your scan, our Program Director will provide you with an outline of the next steps. Your report will be ready within a couple of weeks, just prior to your consultation.
Your images and report are available to you through our online portal as soon as they are available.
Share your results with your physician, friends, and family through our easy to use online portal.
Our Program Director will reach out to schedule your Provider Consultation with Dr. Suber or associate to go over your results and questions in depth.
